This is a power packed trip covering important locations of Bhutan in a smaller number of days, The trip to Bhutan starts at Siliguri and continues to Bhutan going through Phuentsholing, Thimphu, Punakha, Paro and concludes again back in Siliguri.

Departure time : Please arrive by 10 AM for a prompt departure at 11 AM after documentation

Recommended Gear : Riding Jacket and Pants, Riding Gloves with winter protection, Riding Boots(Avoid Sports shoes), Helmet with pinlock visor (we provide basic full face helmet)

Exclusions:

  • GST(5%) is applicable extra
  • Lunch on all days, any kind of food or beverage that is not included in the package like alcoholic drinks, mineral water and snacks.
  • Entry tickets to monuments/monasteries, camera charges, laundry, telephone bills, tips or any other personal expenses.
  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks etc. (to be borne directly by the customer on the spot)
  • Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.
  • Any damage to the bike except engine damage must be borne by the client and paid directly to the bike vendor, Motoreise has no role in it. (not applicable for clients with trip assurance plan)

Day 1: Siliguri to Phuentsholing – 175 Km – 7 hours
After arriving at the Siliguri Airport, meet your Road Captain, finish documentation, collect your bikes and begin riding towards the land of Dragons – Bhutan. On our way, we take a fast end at the Teesta Bridge or the Coronation Bridge, depending our the course we seek after. As we draw nearer towards the Indo-Bhutan border, we end up riding in the midst of the Lataguri backwoods which leaves us feeling like a piece of the wonderful nature's canvas.

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu– 150 Km – 6 hours
The day begins with a sumptuous breakfast post which we head towards the immigration office to complete the immigration formalities. The whole procedure takes a couple of hours including submitting the ID proof, biometrics, etc. Explore Phuentsholing while we get all the permits required. After lunch we will ride towards Thimphu, we see the terrain get greener and colder. Upon arrival, explore the local market and the cute cafes there. Pubs in Thimphu are also very famous.

Day 3: Explore Thimphu – 40 Km – 7 hours
After breakfast, visit the Buddha Dordemma, a 51m tall sculpture of Buddha overlooking the Thimphu city. Next, we visit the National Chorten, a stupa in Thimphu, trailed by 'Simply Bhutan'. Here, you can dive into the Bhutani culture wearing their customary dresses, appreciate the conventional Bhutani Dance and even appreciate some archery! Afterward, visit the Folk Heritage Museum - an old farmhouse demonstrating the provincial Bhutanese life - for a customary Bhutani lunch of Ema Datsi or Kew Datsi. Post lunch, we head to the Bhutan paper industrial facility and Bhutan Postal Museum. In the evening we will visit Tashichho Dzong or Thimphu Dzong and witness the beautiful lighting which makes it an icon for the city.

Day 4: Thimphu to Punakha – 85 Km – 4 hours
Today, we plan to visit Punakaha post breakfast. The mesmerizing beauty of the ride shall captivate your mind and soul. We shall be crossing the world-famous Dochula Pass (3150m) which has the 108 memorial stupas for their martyred soldiers. It is highly revered by the locals. Next, we shall visit the Punakha Dzong famous for the special Bhutanese architecture. It is named after Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). After that, we will be visiting the suspension bridge and it’s café.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro – 126 Km – 5 hours
After breakfast, start a journey towards Paro with Natural Chilling Weather. Paro has the country’s only Airport and known for the many sacred sites in the area. We will stop for lunch in Thimphu, post which our target is to reach Chelila pass to witness the sunset.

Day 6: Explore Paro – 40 Km – 8 hours
We start our day post breakfast and ride through wonderful open country and brilliant paddy fields to arrive at the beginning stage of the acclaimed climb to the Taktsang Lakhang, otherwise called the Tigers Nest Monastery. It appears as though it is roosted on the vertical stone by magical paste. Post our 6 hours long trek, if time and body permits, we will visit the stunning Kichu Lhakhang or the Paro National Museum or possibly try a restoring hot stone bath.

Day 7: Paro to Phuentsholing – 150 Km – 5 hours
Today we will take it slow, post breakfast we will start our ride back towards Phuentsholing. We will try to reach our hotel by afternoon and enjoy our last day in Bhutan.

Day 8: Phuentsholing to Siliguri – 150 Km – 5 hours
Post breakfast we will start our ride back towards Siliguri as we bid adieu to Bhutan. Once we reach hotel we will handover the bikes and relax after a week long ride.

Day 9: Departure from Siliguri
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and get dropped at the airport. Our wonderful trip ended taking with us memories worth a lifetime and friendships to cherish forever!

  • No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,
  • If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled, and, in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
